Putt-putt

It was really fun!  We decided to go after dusk since both the Father and Son wanted to watch an episode of the Cash Cab before we go.  After sunset was not really an ideal time to be out because both mosquitoes and noseeums have already took over the airspace.  But since it was my first “mini-golf” try, not even those flies can stop the fun and excitement rolling over my spine.

There were 18 holes in all- with a six stroke limit per hole.  With my lucky purple ball, at first I thought there was such a thing as a beginner’s luck.  But like all other sport, this requires technique, stroke and understanding of the goal you are aiming.  During the first few holes I was not taking things seriously.  But when I got the maximum stroke limit and was penalized, I thought I should not act like I was just walking in the park.  True enough, it paid off.  After 18 holes, and for a starter like me versus a seasoned golfer like Dad and a putt-putt experienced like Chris my total of 62 attempts was not bad at all.  Dad lead by 53, followed by Chris at 55.
